Marcie Steward, CEO & Founder

Marcie Steward is the Founder and CEO of The Rampart of Amarillo Senior Living and Veterans Homes. Having worked in the senior care industry for most of her professional career, Marcie saw a gap between the large over 55 communities and nursing homes. She understood that most people want to live out their lives in a home environment as long as possible while still receiving the daily help and care they might need.

The is how the idea for The Rampart of Amarillo was born. With a heart and love for seniors and veterans who desire to age with grace and dignity, she set about locating homes and creating a team that would serve with the attention and care that seniors deserve.

Marcie holds a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from West Texas A&M University and is currently working on her master's degree. She is also a mother, grandmother and pastor, and leads everything in her life with faith.

For those who prefer to remain in their own homes, we also provide private in-home care. Our caregivers offer assistance with daily activities, medication support, and companionship—helping seniors maintain independence while receiving the compassionate attention they deserve.
